I’m a journalism student, storyteller, and community-focused journalist who believes that people deserve stories they can trust.
I created CharityNelsonTV with a simple goal: to tell stories that matter to the people and communities I serve.
There are so many stories happening around us every day—stories about people making a difference, issues affecting our neighborhoods, organizations doing important work, challenges our communities are facing, and everyday people whose voices deserve to be heard.
I want CharityNelsonTV to be a place where those stories can live.
My approach to storytelling is rooted in journalism: ask questions, listen to people, seek the facts, provide context, and be honest with my audience about what I know and what I don’t.
Trust matters.
I’m not interested in simply being the first person to post something. I’m interested in being a source people can come back to because they know I’m going to take the story seriously.
My faith is also an important part of who I am and how I approach life. That’s why I created the Podcast ‘Faith on the Real’, a space for honest conversations about faith, life, and how I walk it daily.
But CharityNelsonTV is bigger than one conversation.
It’s about community. It’s about people. It’s about stories.
Whether I’m reporting on something happening in the community, sitting down with someone whose story deserves to be heard, covering an issue that affects local residents, or having a real conversation about faith, my goal remains the same:
